The Luthiel's Song Fan Art Contest

ATTENTION ARTISTS

We are pleased to announce the winners of the Spring 2007 Luthiel's Song Fan Art Contest!

We issued a public invitation for artists to draw a scene from the book, illustrate their favorite character, or otherwise bring the world of Oesha and the World of Dreams to life! We received quite a few entries, and the winners are posted below.

All winners receive the prizes listed below, plus placement among Robert's MySpace top 24 friends (out of 74,000), plus winning announcements here, on MySpace, and on the Luthiel's Fantasy Group interest group (a top-ten discussion group out of over 40,000 entertainment groups on MySpace) .

$50 iTunes or Amazon gift certificate,
personally-inscribed copy of Luthiel's Song

Jessica

Jessica is a freelance graphic designer and illustrator from Argentina. She enjoys travel and meeting new people. She also likes to spend time alone reading, writing, drawing and painting. About herself, she says -- "I'm an eternal student because I'm always learning something new or taking some courses on any subject that strikes my interest." You can find Jessica on MySpace at:

Annieo Klaus is a talented young artist from Dakar Academy, Senegal, West Africa. She enjoys fantasy artwork with a hint of the mythic and is a huge fan of fantasy stories. Annieo was also the first submission to the art contest and has been very enthusiastic to see the work of her fellow winners.

Special Runner-Up Prize
One personally-inscribed copy of Luthiel's Song

Tabitha Ann Renaldi

Tabitha - Luthiel's Song fan art contest runnerup

Tabitha is from Marysville, NC. She gains her inspiration for artwork through writing and reading. Her artwork earned a special runner-up prize for being a great example of pixel art, a deceptively difficult kind of illustration done meticulously without the benefit of any special brushes or antialiasing. Tabitha tells us she also enjoys drawing and painting using the traditional pen, paper, paint, etc.. She loves to read, and likes to write (especially poetry) and take photographs with a digital camera. Tabitha is on MySpace at:

We would like to thank all the talented entrants to the first Luthiel's Song Fan Art Contest! Check back monthly for the announcement of future art contests!
